Writes: Dusko JOVANOVIC, a representative in the Parliament of the Republic of Montenegro, “DAN” (8th October 2000.)

Instead of voting which they haven’t done the Montenegrin “officials”, surprised by the results of the elections decided to threat and warn politically.
Of course, the threats and the warnings are towards Belgrade this time too.
So, the president and the deputy of DPS were the first who stated their political attitudes for “Vijesti”, and after that for “Pobjeda”, (29th September 2000).
In that context Milo Djukanovic convinces first himself and than tries to convince the citizens that SNP is the greatest loser on the past elections (and some others). Right!
That theory Milo Djukanovic will have to explain first to his members, and especially to his cooperators.
In his elaboration Milo Djukanovic does not forget to threat by all possible “political Serbias” and to note that the Montenegrin “drop of democracy” started going towards the separatism, the truth is the unconstitutional one, but that does not concern anyone in “vertical Montenegro”.
The practice will show that there is no room for the threats but Milo Djukanovic should apologies to Kostunica for his political abstinence on the 24th September.
When he could apology to Mesic, he should do the same to Kostunica.

On the same day “Pobjeda” published the statement of Filip Vujanovic.
He immediately called Kostunica to dismiss the Federal parliament.
Fillip “ex layer” forgets if he dismissed the federal parliament, there should be elections again.
All that is according to the Constitution.
Does it mean that according to Filip’s opinion new elections in accordance with the old constitutional program would be less illegitimate or more legitimate than this already finished on which because of its alleged illegitimacy the coalition “For a Better Life” didn’t vote?
Or, maybe, Filip asks for taking a make-up exam.
With or without a make-up exam, Filip lost a year.
Fillip still “hopes” that the International Community in Montenegro will help anyway.
To translate you this, Filip demonstrates huge fear: what if there wouldn’t be “help” in the expected volume?
The Prime Minister of “vertical” Montenegro is in panic how to survive without international help.
He forgets the statements of his predecessor (Milo Djukanovic) that Montenegro has made financial construction (self-financing).
There are two versions.
Or his predecessor didn’t say the truth or Filip “commanded” very badly in the Government of Montenegro and “ruined” Montenegrin position made with hard working.

After these two “brilliant” appearances of the DPS leaders, Mr. Vukovic, Milo Djukanovic’s councilor made a statement in “Vijesti” on the 4th October 2000.
He, probably after consulting his boss, says that a partner of DPS for the conversation about the future relationship in the Federation is future Serbian Government and not any president of Yugoslavia. As the elections for the Serbian Parliament and at the same time for the Government are in the second half of the next year than Vukovic has to postpone the issue of the Federation functioning in the name of DPS at least for a year.
Soon after that the mandate of the Montenegrin Parliament is off, as well as the Government mandate, which means that the “vertical” Montenegrins with their platform have to “boast” first in front of their people and than to take it to Belgrade.

Milan Tripkovic’s, ex director of HTP “Boka”, destiny is still uncertain.
In fact, his custody is prolonged, allegedly because the persons from this “case” have to testify, and they are all around the world.
As if Mr. Tripkovic was guilty because one of the witnesses was in Australia. It is possible that the court considers that his presence and testyfing on the court should be provided by Mr. Tripkovic himself.
What wanders is “silence” of Mr. Franovic, “duty guardian” of the human rights, who wasn’t interested in this “case”, one of the longest, if not the longest custody in the Montenegrin judicature (over three years).
There is great possibility (or coincidence) that that the duration of the custody could be equal with the mandate of the incumbent Montenegrin coalition.
One witness is in Australia.
However, Milo is here.
And he could and should give a statement to High court regarding this “affair”.
Maybe after his statement there wouldn’t be reasons for Mr. Tripkovic’s staying in prison.

There is great concern at the governing coalition for “the destiny” of the local radio in Herceg Novi.
In fact, the Republic Secretariat for Information accused municipality Herceg Novi for wanting to use local radio station for the promotion of one party.
“Republika” forgets that the government in Herceg Novi is the coalition “Yugoslavia”, and not one party.
“Republika” forgets that that coalition defeated them utterly on the local elections.
“Republika” forgets that republican government is trying to close all media which don’t play according to the notes of the coalition “For a Better Life”.
“Republika” forgets that its officials call the oppositional media as fascistic.
There is so much that “Republika” forgets while trying to teach others the lessons about democracy and media freedom.
Even if it is from “Republika”, it is too much.
